Anders Evensen Kank(e)rud b. Aamoteie, also named Soerjordet in 1820.
Date of marriage: March 31st 1849. Best man: Nils A. Midtvoldhaugen. Bought the farm Smedkankerud from Ole Syversen in 1849. Later he also bought Kankerud Soendre. In 1875 Anders lived on the farm Midtvoldhaugen, according to the census that year. The 1900 census records him living with his son Even at Smedkankerud. Died 1912.

Marte Amundsdatter Kankerud b. Midtvoldshaugen in 1824
Date of marriage: March 31st 1849. Best man: Nils A. Midtvoldhaugen. Died 1904.

SIBLINGS:
Andreas Andersen b. September 17th 1849
Farmed Kankerud Vestre together with his brother Even at the 1875 census. Later he took over Smedkankerud. Married to Ane Johnsdatter (b. Kveum in 1841, d. 1922) Children:
Anders Andreassen, b. 1875. Died young.
Johan Andreassen, b. 1878. Emigrated to America, but returned 20 years later and married his cousin Marie Tobiasdatter Kveine.
Marta Andreasdatter, b. 1884. Married Johan Ulveng. Run the Kveine farm together with her brother Anders.
Anders Andreassen b. 1887. Took over his mother's farm Kveine together with his sister Marta.
Martin Andreassen. Married Martha Gunderrsdatter Baardlistuen (Western Gausdal) and had a farm by Lillehammer. Emigrated to America.
Signe Andreasdatter. A foster daughter b. 1894.
In 1900 Andreas and Ane lived at the Moellerstuen cottage. He then worked as a postman. Died 1923.

Eline Andersdatter b. November 5th 1851
Emigrated to Clark Co., WI in 1889. Married Iver Eri(c)kson on October 12th 1889. Children:

Daughter, stillborn May 2nd 1891

Even Andersen b. July 4th 1853
Farmed Kankerud Soendre together with his brother Andreas in the 1875 census. Later took over the farm by himself. In the 1900 census Even is recorded living at Smedkankerud. Married to Marthe Amundsdatter (b. Berg in Musdal in 1855). Children:

Simen Andersen b. September 5th 1856, d. January 12th 1857.

Christened February 14th 1858. Occupation according to the 1875 census: cobbler. Married Randi Pedersdater Holtseteren on March 19th 1889. Emigrated to Clark Co., WI in 1889. Children:

Milkmaid at Kleva Oevre in 1900 census. Unmarried. Lived at home and tended her parents.

Kristian Andersen b. February 9th 1868
Emigrated to Clark Co., WI in 1889. Went to Dakota in 1892, but returned to Wisconsin.
